BROCTON – Frederick “Fred” L. Delcamp, of Peerless Street Brocton, NY passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Saint Vincent Health Care Facility in

Erie, Pa. Following a brief illness. He was 82 years old.

Fred was born October 26, 1937 in Jamestown, NY a son to the late Melvin and Edith (Hewitt) Delcamp.

He had attended and graduated from Brocton Central School and following graduation, went on to serve his Country with the United States Air Force from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1961. He continued as a reservist until 1963.

When Fred returned home from the service, he had been employed as a carpenter for Butler Building in Massachusetts. Eventually, Fred returned back home to Brocton where he continued as a self- employed carpenter. He than began driving truck for Portland Sand and Gravel of Portland, NY where he retired in 2000.

Fred is survived by his loving Companion of 35 years, Judith “Judy” Esperson of Brocton, NY, his children, Randy (Elva) Delcamp, Gary (Wendy) Delcamp, and his daughter

Sharee Delcamp, his cherished grandchildren, Kimberlee and Robin Delcamp all of Massachusetts. He is further survived by his sister Phyllis Thomas of Brocton, NY. and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Fred is predeceased by a sister Daphne Parks.

As per Fred’s wishes all funeral services will be held privately.

Memorial contribution’s may be made on Fred’s behalf to the John W. Dill, Post 434, American Legion of Brocton, NY for their Honor Guard.
