Helen Congdon Halpainy Lindberg

Helen is survived by her daughter, Nancy Fry; her sisters: Marion Sticek, Tricia Wienaug and Audrey Congdon; grandchildren: Robin Fry, Sally Fry and Linda Fry, Scott Halpainy (Bennie Buchta), Roderick Halpainy (Debbie), Joel Halpainy (Jenny), Susan Halpainy and Sara Halpainy (Rick Sikes); many great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Claude and Myrtle Congdon; siblings: Ruth, Maude, Betty, Earl, Curtis, Inez, Minn, Pat, Bruce and Doris; her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Betty Halpainy, and grandchildren: Lisa Halpainy and Brian Fry.

Helen was a retiree of Wegmans and Visiting Nurse Services. She was a long-standing member of the Rebekah and Odd Fellows Lodge. She was an avid reader, a lover of road trips, a good friend, neighbor and “grandma” to all.

A gathering in her honor/memory will be held at a future date.
