CONEWANGO VALLEY, N.Y. — Charlotte R. Herman, 5, of Route 241, Conewango Valley, passed away at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

She was born January 13, 2015, in Jamestown, the daughter of Mark F. and Julia M. (Kinney) Herman.

Charlotte was a Pre-K student at the Randolph Central School Gail N. Chapman Elementary. She had also attended the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School in Dunkirk.

She loved life to the fullest at her young age of 5, Charlotte enjoyed playing soccer, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, dance and a love for all animals. She attended St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Randolph with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mark and Julia, are a brother; Myles J. Herman; maternal grandparents; Dennis and Mary Peterson Kinney of Randolph; Paternal grandparents: Jack and Carolyn Kohn Herman of South Dayton; maternal great grandparents, Rita Peterson of Lyndonville, Vt., and Donald and Joan Kinney of St. Petersburg, Fla., and paternal great-grandfather, Calvin Kohn of Largo, Fla.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by great grand- parents; Loraine Kohn, Allen Peterson and Franklin and Mary Herman.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2020, in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, masks are required and only 35 people at a time will be let in.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the family at St. Patricks’ Roman Catholic Church in Randolph at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Treat Memorial Cemetery, Leon.
