Milton L. “Les” Rogers, Jr.

Milton L. “Les” Rogers, Jr. 61, of Sheridan, N.Y., died unexpectedly on Friday Sept. 18, 2020, at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, N.Y.

Les was born June 4,1959, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of the late Milton Rogers Sr. and Marlene (Hawks) Rogers.

Surviving are his mother, Marlene Rogers of Silver Creek, N.Y.; two sons: Matthew and Steven Rogers, both of Olean, N.Y.; a brother, John (Tina) Rogers of Holiday, Fla.; and sister, Elizabeth (Mike) Bayba of Silver Creek.

Les was a graduate of Iroquois Central High School, class of 1977 in Elma, N.Y. He was employed by the Pennysaver in Fredonia, N.Y., where he worked in advertising and sales.

One of Les’ favorite interests was camping and being outdoors. He loved and collected movies and was known for his great sense of humor. He also had an affinity for anything to do with audio or visual media.

A small private funeral service for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, at the Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church, 64 Buffalo St., Silver Creek, at 11 a.m., with visiting pastor Vince Eisaman officiating. Memorial services will also be held the same day from 1-3 p.m. and from 4-6 p.m., that will be open to all who would like to come and pay their respects with the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek.
