Scott Allen Hennessey

Scott Allen Hennessey, 60, of Fredonia, N.Y., died at his home surrounded by his family on Monday Sept. 14, 2020, to be with his savior, Jesus Christ.

Scott was born July 12, 1960, to Nancy A. (Robertson) and the late James C. Hennessey. He graduated from Fredonia High School class of 1978 and was a member of Fredonia First United Methodist Church.

Scott is survived by: his wife, Brenda (Newman) Hennessey, who he married in 1982; a daughter, Sarah (Ron) Krzal Jr.; a son, David (Brittany) Hennessey; a granddaughter, Alexa Hennessey; two grandsons: Carter Hennessey and Matthew Krzal; a brother, Gregory (Joy) Hennessey; a sister, Suzzane (Kevin) Voss; son-in-law of Edward and Lorrie Newman; also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews’ and many wonderful friends.

Scott is predeceased by his father, James C. Hennessey.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care Team: Kala, Rachel, Emily and Pastor Jim.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, N.Y., on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at 1 p.m. COVID regulations will be in effect. Please wear a mask and maintain 6 feet social distance.
