Norman W. Myers Sr.

Norman was born Feb. 28, 1932 in Buffalo , NY the son of John and Laura (Jainer) Myers.

A self employed carpenter Norman belonged to the Carpenters Union in Buffalo. Norm was also a Merchant Marine working on ships in the Great Lakes during the 1950’s, he was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gowanda and the NRA.

Survivors include 3 children; Norman Myers Jr. of Gowanda, Tammy ( Bruce) Levine of Atlanta, Ga. and Craig Myers of Gowanda. Grandchildren Justin, Nicole, Ashley Nathan and Alexis Myers. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents Norman was preceded in death by his wife Helen L. (Livak) Myers. (Nov. 8, 1996) a brother Warren Myers and a sister Velma Hensel.

Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Tuesday Nov. 17, 2020 from 4-7p.m. (face masks required) where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 @ 11 a.m. Rev. Travis Grubbs officiating. Interment in the Maplewood Cemetery Springville.
