Linda (Pixley) Scholl

Linda (Pixley) Scholl, 72, of Dunkirk, N.Y., passed away Monday morning May 10, 2021, peacefully at home in the loving arms of her daughter.

She was born in Buffalo, N.Y. on May 9 1949, the daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy (Purucker) Pixley Sr.

Linda was a fine arts alumna of South Park High School, class of 1967. She spent most of her working years in the restaurant business but she also worked retail, drove semi-trucks and was a seamstress.

Linda was blessed with many talents. She was an artist, a craftswoman and an excellent cook. She was especially known for sharing her baked goods with friends and family.

Survivors include her children: Michele (Arthur) Bouquin of Fredonia and Patrick (Julie) Scholl of North Tonawanda; her grandchildren: Zachary Alyssa) Bouquin, Michael (Kayleigh Hill) Scholl, Danielle Scholl and Dillon Scholl; her siblings: James (Deborah) Watkins, Michael (Jacqueline) Watkins, Susan (David Bedford) Watkins, JoAnne Stringer and Kim (David Oleszek) Lavka. Extended family, friends and her loyal dog, Rudy, also survive.

Beside her parents, Linda is predeceased by a brother, Richard Pixley Jr., who died May 4, 2019.

Linda chose to donate her body to U.B. Jacobs School of Medicine. Per her wishes, a memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
