Albin Warren Fredrickson

Albin Warren Fredrickson, 59, of Fredonia, NY, passed away at home of natural causes on June 7, 2021.

Albin lived most of his life in Cassadaga. He was born April 16, 1962, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Warren and Janet Blizzard Fredrickson.

He was a 1981 graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School. Albin spent his career as a cook at area restaurants. He was a sports enthusiast and learned all that he could about the wars of our country.

Albin was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 1280, and a supporter of various environmental groups.

Albin was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his siblings: Amy Davis (Travis Christy) of Sinclairville, NY, Lane (Stephen) Sterrett of Charlotte, NC, and Erik Fredrickson of Lawrence, KS; two nephews: Jacob (Alison) Davis of Haughton, LA., and Joseph (Jennifer) McLaughlin III of Lancaster, CA; three great-nephews: Brayden and Jameson McLaughlin and Tyler Davis; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. A special thank you to Bill DeWeese for the difference he made in Albin’s last weeks of life.

Albin donated his body to the UB Anatomical Gift Program. Albin’s memorial service will be announced later.
