Ann Marie Howe
Gowanda – Ann Marie Howe, 69, of Gowanda, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2023 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville. She was born on June 21, 1953 in Buffalo, daughter of the late Donald “Mick” and Lucille (Martin) Donahue. She was married to Richard W. Howe, who predeceased her.
For many years she worked as a realtor for Metro Trank Realty in East Aurora, and was a teacher’s aide for Iroquois Central School District. Ann Marie was known for her crafting, and especially her card making. She enjoyed genealogy, cooking, gardening, and was also an animal lover, particularly enjoying the birds.
She is survived by three brothers; John (Marcia) Donahue of Springville, Paul (Mary) Donahue of Collins, and Tom Donahue of Tampa, FL, as well as a sister, Jud Donahue (Dave) Gabel of Collins. Also surviving is a niece, Sarah Gabel, and seven nephews; Jonathan Donahue, Greg Donahue, Dan Ryan, Nick Budney, Tom Budney, Ben Donahue, and Michael Donahue.
Besides her husband and parents, Ann Marie is predeceased by a sister, Maureen Walters.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11 am to 12 pm Noon from the Gowanda Assembly of God Church. A memorial service will be held following at 12 pm Noon from the church.
