Quiet majority stifles vocal protesters

Commentary

On the front page of the Dunkirk OBSERVER dated Feb. 19, 2019, it shows a picture of protesters and above that picture, stated “Bridges, not walls.”

Those in attendance were from Dunkirk, Fredonia, Ashville, Jamestown, Sheridan and Westfield. Protester Alexandra Holbrook referred to President Trump as xenophobic and divisive, whatever that means.

First of all, let’s set the record straight that the Democrats were in favor of a wall on the Mexican border during the last administration. Again, I repeat, the Democrats were in favor of the border wall during the last administration.

Now I would like to know how many in that group of protesters actually went down to the Mexican border and actually spoke to the border patrol agents who are on the front lines of this problem. How many of those protesters actually spoke to the citizens who live on the Mexican border?

How many of the protesters actually spoke to the families who lost a loved one to an illegal alien? How many protesters actually observed the storage houses that contained tons of illegal drugs confiscated at the border? But you see, the actual problem is that people are complaining about what was agreed upon by the Democratic party. So folks, it looks like you are being used again by the Democrats.

I should say the Hate Trump Brigade in Washington is only after one thing, not the border, but to do anything to make our president look bad, that’s all. So it’s not about the border. It is about the haters of the Trump Brigade. Even when the president is right, in their eyes he is wrong. It doesn’t matter what it is.

They hate him so bad, they even have some of the media believing that. All this because the Democrats lost the election.

This is not the American way at all. So the Trump Hate Brigade will continue to try and disrupt the President in anything he does, and folks, they are using you to no end.

So wake up and be glad you live a long way from the Mexican border. And don’t pay any attention to the Trump Hate Brigade. Elections are coming. The Quiet Majority will rise again like they did during the last election.
