Boy, family grateful for help

People's Column

Mason Schrantz poses with Ginger Pokoj.

Editor, OBSERVER:

A sincere heart-felt “thank you” to all of our family, friends and strangers from the local community and surrounding towns, who attended the fundraiser, “Mason Kicks T-Cell Lymphoma” on March 24. We want to thank not just those who attended but the many individuals who participated by donating dozens of beautifully hand crafted gift baskets and other items for raffle.

It’s impossible to mention each and everyone by name because the response from the community was overwhelming. Everyone involved made this benefit a great success and one to be remembered. Thank-you to those who spent hours of time, in the kitchen and, setting up for the event.

To the local businessmen and women who donated time, services, gift cards and collections, you are very much appreciated. A SPECIAL mention to our dear friend, Ginger Lorraine for her management services putting this benefit together. Thank you Ginger!

Last but not least thank you to John D’Agostino, publisher, and the OBSERVER for the notices and article space donated.

Our sincerest gratitude to all. Mason feels very special.
