Dunkirk’s newly enacted dog leash law will go into effect April 15. The law, drawn up by Councilman Clem Worosz, states that no dog will be allowed to be at large in the city on any other premises than the property of the owner of the dog unless consent is given by owners of other property. Fines of $25 for each violation and imprisonment for 10 days will be used to enforce the law.
