Hanover: One more hurdle for turbines

All eyes will be on Hanover tonight when the Town Board considers approving the 600-foot height for wind turbines in the Ball Hill wind project.

Last week, in a non-shocker, the Villenova board gave its blessing without allowing public comment. It was there, it seemed, there was plenty of contention in recent months regarding how things would play out.

Hanover, however, has been fairly quiet since only six towers will be in the township.

As is typical of the current supervisor, he said little last week in an interview with OBSERVER reporter Mary Heyl.

He’s still one vote — and the Town Board will need a supermajority of at least four to approve.
