FREDONIA: ‘New experience’ boosts village

Small Business Revolution, as noted in last weekend’s OBSERVER, did not make a return trip to Fredonia as was planned earlier this month. Due to COVID-19, the cast and crew decided the show would be done remotely instead.

“It certainly is a new experience. It’s amazing that we were lucky enough to get into Fredonia to meet the businesses, see the town, and see the spirit before the pandemic hit,” said Ty Pennington, co-host of the show, with Amanda Brinkman.

There was definitely plenty of momentum in Fredonia — and the “Revolution” will continue to bring the community and region plenty of visibility in season five. In addition, the businesses that were assisted — Fresh & Fancy Flowers & Gifts, Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County, The Hair Bar, Om Nohm Gluten Free, Nyce and Clean Premium Detailing, The Vineyards Golf Course and Lena’s Pizza and Sub Shop — are forever grateful.

As is the village. Over the weekend, banners flew on Main Street highlighting plenty of history and the annual festivals. The experience, though short lived, will never be forgotten.
