It's not that the project isn't worth doing, it's that it being paid for by a bill that was supposed to be for Hurricane Sandy relief, and if this project was larded onto it you can be sure there are a ton of others.

Hmmm, public dollars are going to be spent on a project that benefits the public. Sounds like...SOCIALISM!!! And in Westfield, home of the newspaper bearing the name "Republican"?!?!?!? C'mon, is this for real?
