January 26, 2014

If state Gov. Andrew Cuomo were to meet Forestville Mayor Linda Aures, he would consider her an exemplary leader, especially when it came to her efforts of consolidation....

Maybe Beaccountable should write a book on how to make positive change. Chapter 1: Insult everyone. The end. "Simpleville", "losers." Ouch! Someone had a rough childhood.

It's nothing personal against the people of Simpleville. I just don't understand people unwilling to help themselves. Move forward, evolve, get yourselves out of the rut the leadership of that village has put you in over the last several decades, embrace change. Best of luck to you all!

The comment about books is a common saying. Of course in a village like Forestville I'm not surprised the point was missed. Sorry but would never waste my time trying to bring that backwards town up to the last century let alone the current century. You yocals have stood in solidarity against progress. Now it's time for you all to own it.

Sorry I dont think most would follow your logic what does children reading books have to do with anything? I would say that Aures is finally doing the right thing for the taxpayers of that village. Its the only right thing shes done. It sounds like maybe you'd do a better job. I think elections are coming up soon, you should run for a seat. Maybe they need a man to step in and run things, you know level headed and able to make proper and quick decisions.

Who wrote this article, Linda Aures? You cannot continue to create scandle when there was never any in the first place. It seems as if Sullivan would do better to try and dig up his own villages problems. Oh wait, he was not voted back in to Mayor of Fredonia either. I think the villagers are breathing a lot better knowing she's done.

The village deserves to be exactly where they are. By ignoring what their past leaders did and resisting any forward progress/fearing change under Linda Aures they must be happy doing things the old way. You can buy your kids books, but you can't make them read. Now raise the village taxes so you can make good on that loan, Simpleville.
