SHERIDAN - Have you ever thought that you'd like to go to church, but you just haven't gotten around to it? "Homecoming Sunday" is a day that provides the opportunity to start or reactivate worshipping God in fellowship with others. Sheridan United Methodist Church is holding a special Homecoming worship service on Sunday, Nov., 7 at 10:45 a.m. Everyone will receive a warm welcome, whether you attended Sheridan UMC in the past or have never attended at all. This simple service of worship will allow people of all traditions to feel comfortable.

Children are welcome at the service and a staffed nursery is available. The church has easy handicapped accessibility. There will be refreshments following the service, so you can meet new friends, renew old relationships and have questions answered.

Those with questions prior to the service should feel free to call the church office at 672-2048. Regular office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Leave a message at other times and the pastor will return your call.

Everyone is always welcome at Sheridan UMC. Sunday worship service, led by Pastor Molly T. Golando and Associate Pastor David Watson, begins at 10:45 a.m. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m. Mid-week Bible study/prayer meeting is held each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 2679 Route 20 in Sheridan. Call 672-2048 for information.
