Open house for Stockton Place

February 27, 2013
The OBSERVER

The Stockton Elementary School, which was closed in June 1982, has undergone a transformation into a 10-unit apartment building being marketed to the active 55 and over adult population. Left to right: Bob and Beth Perry and Kathy and Aaron Burnett standing in the kitchen area of a unit. An open house will be held Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at the complex located near the heart of Stockton on Route 380. The units are available for rent now. The couples did most of the refurbishment of the complex themselves, creating the spacious two-bedroom, one-bath units that include stove and refrigerator, internet service, a washer and dryer hook-up, garbage collection, lawn care and snow removal and have lots of storage space. For further information call 595-3653 or stop into the open house.
