Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce President Todd Tranum exhibited a terrific tantrum in his lengthy diatribe (Feb. 24). His ranting in defense of Chicago profiteers made him sound like a paid Lobbyist.
Shame must be placed on Mr. Tranum for using the word "shame" to attack our sincere citizens who disagree with him, and whose sole motive is not profiteering but simply protecting the dedicated and excellent care the residents of the Chautauqua County Home are receiving!
Doesn't the current era of American history cry out for the involvement of common citizens in governmental decision-making?
