SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek Seniors met on March 19 on Route 5 with 22 members present. President Ed Newman opened the meeting by leading the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and singing "God Bless America." Chaplain Irene Conny then presented a prayer. Birthdays were recognized, including that of Conrad Pawlak and Clara Griffin.
Several members won prizes from drawings the group held.
Lorrie Newman shared a few stories. Fred Sikorski told the members about trips coming up. One is being held on April 18 at Varysburg, the Made in America store, Hidden Valley Animal Adventures and Vidler's in East Aurora. The cost of the trip is $69 per person.
Another trip will be to Erie, Pa. on June 11. Seniors will travel to Presque Isle Park and go to Station Dinner Theatre for lunch. The cost of that trip is $82 per person. If seniors are interested in making reservations for either trip, they should call Sikorski at 394-3082.

On March 26, the Silver Creek Seniors will meet at noon for a pot luck Easter luncheon at the Center on Route 5.
