Doloris M. "Dolly" Dynarski, 76, of West Main Street in Arcade, died Friday, April 5, 2013, in the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home in Springville.
Born in Brocton on Aug. 31, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Niedbalski) Wolnik. On February 7, 1959, in Brocton, she married John J. Dynarski, who died March 21, 2009.
Dolly was a member of the Holland Fire Company Auxiliary for years, and volunteered at many school activities in Holland.
A homemaker, Dolly was known for her needlepoint and her craft projects. She loved creating baby blocks and many of her friends' tables are adorned with her homemade napkin holders.
Although she preferred to stay close to home, Dolly was eager to hear stories of others' many adventures.
She is survived by her children, Doreen (Charlie) Hawley of South Wales and Jamie (Missy) Dynarski of Chaffee; two granddaughters, Michelle (Jason) Conhiser of Arcade and Kristie (Chris) Butler of Choctaw, Oklahoma; five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Erika, and Ted Conhiser, and Justin and Emily Butler; two sisters, Esther Travis and Barbara Wlodarek; a brother Joe (Shirley) Wolnik; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Mildenstein, and Lorraine (late Tony) Portonova; a brother, Leo Wolnik; and a brother-in-law, Bill Travis.
There will be no prior visitation.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 28, at 1 p.m., at The White Star Restaurant, 12249 Olean Road (Rt. 16), Chaffee.
Memorials may be made to the Arcade, Yorkshire, or Holland fire departments.
