Concerto competition winner featured soloist for Homecoming Weekend

The School of Music will highlight two major concerts presented during Homecoming Weekend. The SUNY Fredonia College Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. David Rudge and Assistant Conductor Eric Mahl, will perform works by Weber, the "Good Friday Spell" from Wagner's "Parsifal," and Carl Nielson's 2nd Symphony, "The Four Temperaments" on Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. in King Concert Hall. Amanda Bottoms, winner of the School of Music Concerto Competition, will be the featured soloist.
