Clara L. (Graves) Gould, 82, of Fredonia, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 12, 2013) at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing in Jamestown after a short illness.
Clara resided at Tanglewood Manor in Jamestown from January 2005 to July 2013, when she became ill.
Born Jan. 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Marjorie (Godfrey) Graves.
Prior to becoming a homemaker, Clara worked at Webb's Candies in the Dunkirk Hotel and Agie's Restaurant on Third Street in Dunkirk. After having a family, she went back to work in Fredonia at Dolly's Restaurant, The Village Squire and Your Host Restaurant at the D&F Plaza. She then worked for 10 years as a care aide for Chautauqua Opportunities before retiring.
She attended Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church in Fredonia.
Survivors include a son, Dennis P. Kulpa of Sherman; a daughter, Rebecca (David) Giambra of Fredonia; and a daughter, Katherine A. Kulpa of Coral Springs, Fla.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce A. Graves; a son, Michael A. Kulpa; two grandsons, Dennis P. Jr. and Jason B. Kulpa; and two adult grandsons, Keith M. and Matthew A. Kulpa.
Memorial services will be held in Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church at a date and time to be announced. There will be no calling hours.
