Fredonia's Michaela Tramuta was recognized for all of her hard work this past season as she was named the 2013 CCAA Cross Country Large Schools Runner of the Year.
Several local runners were also recognized. First-team all stars in the Large School Division from the Northern Chautauqua County area include Gowanda's Katelynn Jaroszewski, Hunter Samuelson, Colleen Steward, along with Fredonia's Gwen Stokes and Claire O'Brien. Second-team selections consist of Gowanda's Sarah Grubs and Lexi Latona, along with Fredonia's Maitland Langworthy and Mary Polvino. Honorable mention runners were Gowanda's Kelsey Delpriore, Marcella Torres and Nina Roman. Fredonia's Skylar Salim was also an honorable mention selection.
On the boys' side, Southwestern's Ryan Hetrick was named the Runner of the Year. Local first-team all stars are Dunkirk's Ethan Francis and Javier Soto, along with Fredonia's Josh Goodhue and Mike Meredith. Second-team all stars are Fredonia's Stephen Formanowicz and Dunkirk's Alec Tomaszewski. Fredonia's Ryan Meredith and Dunkirk's Ray Tarnowski were named to the honorable mention team.

In the girls' Small School Division, Maple Grove's Hope Pietrocarlo was named the Runner of the Year. First-team all stars are Silver Creek's Hannah Seiders and Emma Seiders. Teammates Sarah Adams and Rachel Radack were named to the second team.
On the boys' side, Maple Grove's Corey Wefing was named the Runner of the Year. Gowanda's Joey Kruszka and Matty Kruszka were named to the first team. Second team selections include Silver Creek's Caleb Makuch and Jake Mullen, along with Gowanda's Ian Warrior. Honorable mention recipients are Silver Creek's James Corbin, Ryan Ruia, Tyler Steklasa and Gowanda's Ben Myzel.
