Teenager charged with DWI following accident
HANOVER - A 17-year-old Forestville male has been charged with driving while intoxicated and driving across hazard markings on Sunday following a single-vehicle accident.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to Bradigan Road for a vehicle off the road. Deputies observed the truck had also struck a utility pole and the youth was found to be allegedly intoxicated.
The male was released to his mother and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK - Ralph Crawford, 47, of Silver Creek was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving from lane unsafely on Sunday. At 7:06 p.m. deputies observed a vehicle veer off the road and go into a ditch on Central Avenue.
The driver, Crawford, was found to be allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.
An 18-year-old Mayville male was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 on Sunday.
At 2:42 a.m. police stopped a vehicle on South Portage Street for an alleged traffic infraction. During the stop, it was found the 18 year old was a passenger in the vehicle and allegedly was in possession of alcohol and a small quantity of marijuana.
The male will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
Fredonia Village Court
The Fredonia Village Court has released its report for the month of November.
Justice David Prince and Justice Nancy Dietzen closed 217 cases during that time. Of that amount, 114 were vehicle and traffic cases, 37 were criminal, 53 were regarding village ordinances, three were civil matters and 10 were alcohol-related.
The total amount of fees collected was $18,819.50. Of that amount, $2,795 was for parking tickets.
