Sanderson is no stranger to funeral service; he has worked at the funeral home in various capacities since he was 16 years old. He has always had a passion for funeral service and for helping others in their time of need.
He is a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #118 of Westfield and the Westfield Fireman's Exempt Association. He is a former member and officer of the Westfield Fire Department and its rescue squad, where he served several years as captain.

The Mason Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, has continued to provide funeral care for area residents for over 117 years; and under current ownership and management since 1993.
The Mason Funeral Home has carried on the dignified services that began in 1896 with the Carpenter Funeral Service, then in 1955 the Wallace Funeral Home and in 1980 the Brewer Funeral Home until 1993, when the Masons took over the proud tradition.
