To frack, or not to frack, that is the question!
A decision to that question should only come from the residents of the city of Dunkirk, not from the city council, not from a resident from Fredonia, not from any group or organization only from the residents from this city.
How soon the Council forgets about the League of Women Voters and how they took sides against the Niagara Mohawk Power Plant. Remember how they brought a radical from the environmental group to speak in the city? Now this same organization is against fracking.
I am just wondering do they have a life or not? It seems to me that it is always someone from another community, this time Fredonia, to stick their nose where it does not belong.
Why did the city council take action on this issue without investigating and why did they listen to an outsider who doesn't even live here? Something such as fracking should have been put on a referendum for the city residents to vote on, not just to make a snap decision on something an outsider brought to this council. What's next? Whenever someone brings an idea before this council, they are going to act on that decision right away? What arrogance is this?
Thank God for elections!
