NORTH COLLINS - Two North Collins residents were arrested Sunday night following complaints of teenagers using illegal drugs at their home at 2018 Brant Road.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Department, Laura A. Fiegel, 39, and an unidentified 17-year-old male were arrested and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (concentrated cannabis) a class C felony, seventh degree narcotics possession (pills) and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Fiegel was additionally charged with two counts of criminal nuisance (maintaining premises used for unlawful conduct) and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The endangering charge was filed due to deputies locating two 16-year-old males in the house allegedly smoking marijuana.
The 17-year-old was additionally charged with fourth degree criminal possession of marijuana. He, along with Fiegel, were transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on their charges in North Collins Court.
The two 16 year olds and an additional 17 year old male found in the house were arrested and charged with marijuana possession. They were processed and released on appearance tickets.
Police said multiple citizens complaints led to the investigation. Deputies Theresa Nietzel and Ryan Rogers handled the investigation with assistance from Deputies Neil Held, Don Hoelscher and K9 Deputy Jordan Grabar. Sheriff's Narcotics Detectives also assisted.
