Music on Pier tonight
WHO ARE YOU makes its Music on the Pier debut tonight. Based in western Massachusetts and touring throughout the Northeast United States, WHO ARE YOU captures the raw energy of a Who performance, with a spot-on re-creation of Pete Townsend's synthesizer tracks. When you hear "Won't Get Fooled Again," you'll think you are listening to the record.
Be it the occasional smashing of a guitar, large chunks of Townsend's brilliant rock opera "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia" or the odd Who "B-side" track, you are guaranteed a memorable night of Who classics.
This week's sponsor is the Moniuszko Club. The Monnies is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
Again, food will be available as well as a beer tent.
This festival, like all City of Dunkirk Festivals, is offered to the public free of charge thanks to the support of corporate partners, Brooks Memorial Hospital, Shults Resale Center, Ad-vanced Production Group, Dunkirk Chamber of Com-merce, Coors Light, NRG Energy, DFT Communica-tions, and National Grid.
