MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Lake improved to 2-0 in Division 1 East and 3-2 overall by outscoring Dunkirk, 34-12, in the first half en route to a 62-30 victory.

Katelyn Fardink, coming off a career-high 20 points in her previous game, led the way for the Lady Thunderbirds with 19 points; Kendra Keyser added 10 rebounds; Abby Henry had eight steals for the winners; and Kylie Windus chipped in 11 points.

Jesse Zenns had five assists to help the winning cause.

Amari Carter scored 12 points for Dunkirk (1-5, 0-1).
