Babe Ruth League seeking host families

The Jamestown Babe Ruth announces they are looking for Host Families and Hostesses for the Babe Ruth World Series to be held August 4-11. This will be the 17th time the Jamestown World Series Committee has hosted a World Series since 1980. This year’s tournament will involve players aged 16-18 who will be competing for the title of World Series Champion.

Host families are needed to host the players from the time they arrive in Jamestown on Aug. 2 until their departure on Aug. 12. The Host Family program was eliminated for all but this age group and Jamestown is excited to have this back for the 2018 series. We are looking for anyone who has the availability to be a host family for the week and experience the World Series from a new perspective. Complete details and application are available at www.jamestownworldseries.org.

Hostesses are needed to serve as ambassadors to the World Series and the players. Hostesses must be a resident of Chautauqua County and be of the age 16-18 years old. It is a great experience and a way for others to participate in the week long activities. Details and application are also available on www.jamestownworldseries.org.
