Infinity Gymnastics in Fredonia is sending all their level 2 and 3 competitors to the New York State Championship in Rochester, May 18-20. Each of the 12 girls had to qualify at a USAG sanctioned meet in order to be able to compete at the state level. The gymnasts are coached by the owner of Infinity Gymnastics, Taryn (Kateridge) Austin, a former SUNY Brockport National Champion Team Gymnast and Academic All-American. She opened Infinity Gymnastics in 2016. This is their second competitive season and their second year qualifying for the state championship. In 2017, Infinity Gymnastics took second place at states for Level 2 Small Teams. Infinity gymnasts include, front from left to right, Leah Merchant, Eliana Cross, Lizzie Joy and Mia Haase; back from left to right, Bayley Godfrey, Alana Cook, Taylyn Johnson, Sydney Simmons, and Iris Muck.
