Union Relief sets golf tourney

The Union Relief Association of Westfield will hold its 12th annual golf tournament “Golfing for Gifts” on Saturday, May 19 at the Pinehurst Golf Course, Route 20, in Westfield.

The event features an 8 a.m. registration and a 9 a.m. tee time. It is designed as a shotgun start; “scramble” format. The cost for 18 holes of golf with cart is $65 per golfer. There will be a chance to win a new Cub Cadet lawn tractor worth $3,000, donated by LaPorte Farm Equipment and Bristol Burgess Agency, LLC.

The fundraiser includes skins, raffles and refreshments. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be offered at the turn, and lunch served after the tournament.
