PINE VALLEY 4,

NORTH COLLINS 0

PINE VALLEY — The Pine Valley Panthers boys soccer team won another game on Thursday, beating North Collins 4-0, to mark their 10th win on the season.

On a sloppy field in Pine Valley, Dawson Chase was able to find the back of the net late in the first half to give his team a 1-0 going into halftime.

“The field was not ideal for either team today,” said Pine Valley head coach Dave Pihlblad. “It took some time to adjust to it but once we settled in it was good to send our team out with their last win at home.”

Bayley Finch scored the Panther’s second goal while he was followed up by Evan Frontuto and Ryan Snyder to make the final score 4-0.

Ryan Snyder also added two assists during the game.

Makiah Snyder was in net for the Panthers, making five saves, including a stop on a penalty kick for the winners. North Collins’ Michael Warsaw made eight saves for the Eagles.

Pine Valley (10-4, 5-4) will be off until Wednesday when they face Falconer/Cassadaga Valley in a non-league matchup while North Collins (4-5, 5-7) will play Global Concepts on Monday.
