Silver Creek’s Juliana Flick

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek cross country teams hosted a meet on Monday involving five different schools. The Black Knights girls cross country team came away with a victory as well as the outright winner in Ellie Decker, winning the 2.9-mile course with a time of 19:21.

The Silver Creek girls won with a score of 16 while Randolph followed behind in second place at 47. Juliana Flick placed second for the Black Knights, Daisy League placed third and Melanie Wilson finished fifth rounding out the top five. Emma Romanik, Lily League and Julia Kennedy all finished in the top 10.

For the boys, Silver Creek finished in fourth place, as Randolph’s Ronan McDonald won the race with a time of 16:11.

Riley Wilson finished eighth for the Black Knights while Gabe Rhodes finished ninth. Silver Creek honored three seniors on Monday, including Riley Wilson, Willy League and Sebastian Dole.
