Part of Homecoming Weekend activities, the Athletics Hall of Fame Induction and Dinner is Saturday, October 20, starting with a reception at 5 p.m. inside Dods Hall Gymnasium. The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and the ceremony will follow dinner.

Cost of each dinner ticket is $40. There will be a cash bar. Attire is business formal.

All ticket reservations must be made through the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office, either in person or via the internet. The ticket office is located on the first floor of the Williams Center and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Sundays and holidays).

The online ticketing system is available via the Fredonia Blue Devils website (www.fredoniabluedevils.com). A splash page has been created on the front end of the site. By clicking on the page, users will be directed to the on-line ordering system. Online ticket orders will be assessed a $6 surcharge — regardless of the number of tickets in the order.

No online orders will be mailed. Instead, all tickets purchased online will be distributed at the Will Call table the night of the induction dinner.

Four individuals and five teams make up the Class of 2018. The individuals are Sarah Ficarro (’13) of women’s diving, Nick Guarino (’11) of men’s cross country and track & field, Jordan Oye (’11) of men’s ice hockey and Reilly (Condidorio) Schwenebraten (’12) of women’s soccer.

The teams of distinction are 1959 men’s soccer, 1972 men’s soccer, 1976-77 men’s track & field, 1993-94 men’s hockey, and 1994-95 men’s hockey. All five, previously recognized at past Hall of Fame dinners, will be officially inducted at this year’s event.

The dinner will conclude a weekend of activities geared toward Fredonia alumni and former student-athletes. Plans currently include a golf outing, the annual Ruterbusch 5K, recognition of swimming & diving All-Americas, and men’s soccer, women’s basketball, and men’s hockey alumni games.
