Survivors’ fate rests with the Seahawks

For the two remaining OBSERVER Survivor contestants, they may be sleepless over Seattle.

Both Cheryl Phillips of Dunkirk and Bob Scott of Fredonia — 12-0 in their picks since the start of the National Football League season – expect the Seahawks to win at home this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Both Phillips and Scott are the only two left standing. If the 49ers win, both will share the $200 prize – getting $100 each. If the Seahawks do the expected, according to the Las Vegas oddsmakers, both will be alive for the 14th week.

Last week, Scott selected the Ravens, who won against the Oakland Raiders, and Phillips won with New England, which beat the lowly New York Jets.

About 140 people took part in the contest, which is in its second year.
