Crabtree, Cougars beat up Pine Valley

SINCLAIRVILLE — Connor Crabtree scored a game-high 32 points and the Cassadaga Valley Cougars picked up a big victory, winning 72-56 in CCAA Div. 2 West league action on Tuesday at Cassadaga Valley High School.

Along with Crabtree, Adam Goot added 16 points, Marks Swanson scored 11 points and Ty Pattyson had 13 points and 11 rebounds to help the cause. Mark Swanson added six assists.

For Pine Valley, Christian Ortiz poured in 21 points and added 15 rebounds despite the loss.

Cassadaga Valley (5-7, 2-4) will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Panama while Pine Valley (3-10, 2-5) will visit Catt./Little Valley on Thursday, as well.
