EAST AURORA — The Lake Shore girls basketball team took care of business on Tuesday, downing East Aurora, 60-31 in ECIC Div. 3 action at East Aurora High School.

As they have for most of their high school careers, the Cornfield sisters took control of this one.

Shawni Cornfield led the Lady Eagles with 21 points and seven rebounds while Lani Cornfield added 19 points and eight rebounds to go with it. Together, the Cornfield sisters outscored East Aurora by themselves.

Also for Lake Shore, Sophie Snyder stuffed the stat sheet, scoring seven points while adding six rebounds and six steals.

Lake Shore (10-1, 7-0) will be back in action on Thursday when they host Pioneer in another league game for them.

“It was a really great team win for all the girls tonight,” said Lake Shore head coach Danielle Arnone.
