Marauders fall to St. Francis, 15-5

BUFFALO — The Dunkirk Marauders (8-6, 5-3) were dealt a tough 15-5 loss by St. Francis (9-7), in a Section VI non-league baseball game at St. Francis High School, on Thursday. The Marauders gave up runs in just two innings, but it was enough give St. Francis the 15-5 win.
Tristan Skelly started for the Marauders and went 3 1/3 innings pitched, giving up just two earned runs in the fourth inning — St. Francis added six more for a total of eight in the inning.
The Marauders offensive effort was led by Phil Messina with two hits and a RBI, Jared Glowniak added a RBI single and walked twice, Alex Ahlstrom had RBI single and Nick Zatorski also had a hit. Dunkirk takes on Fredonia today.
