Dunkirk boys soccer earns first league win

The Dunkirk Marauders boys soccer team continued its strong play with a 2-0 road win over Cassadaga/Falconer.

Brady Corbett netted his fist varsity goal, while Josiah Cox scored Dunkirk’s second goal. Seniors Nicholas Hayes and Trevor Skelly each tallied an assist, while Alex Nytz and Luis Gonzalez had strong games on defense. Jayden Johns and Noah Richner both played “outstanding” for the Cassadaga/Falconer squad, according to Dunkirk coach EJ Hayes.

Dunkirk improved to 3-6 on the year, while claiming its first league victory. The Marauders host Chautauqua Lake on Friday.
