SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Lady Black Knights stormed to a 5-0 victory over Olmsted Thursday in Silver Creek.

The Black Knights offense put up three goals in the first half, two of which came off the red hot foot of Jaylah Cossin, in the fifth minute and 17th minute, respectively, with the latter one coming on an assist from Chloe Barrett. The other Silver Creek goal came from Barrett, off a helper from Chloe Vecchio.

The scoring surge continued for Silver Creek in the second half with two more goals, the first of which came from Bridget Ewing, unassisted, and the second one featuring Jayla Cossin capping her hat trick on a feed from Carly Barrett.

Alina Beadle stopped the only shot attempt made on her in her 65 minutes of action, and Tessa Karcz also made the save on her only piece of action.

Silver Creek is next in action against Tonawanda on Monday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. at Tonawanda high school.
