White leads Blue Devils to victory over Medaille

Fredonia State’s Rae White had the scoring touch on Friday evening, pouring in 19 points en route to a 65-49 victory over visiting Medaille. White, of Lake Shore High School, was 7 of 12 from the floor and connected on four long-range buckets.

Morgan Davis, of Allegany-Limestone High School, added 10 points off the bench, and Katie Pitcher added seven points and 10 rebounds as the Devils evened their season mark at 2-2. Medaille falls to 0-4.

Medaille was led by Katherine Willett with 15 points.

The Devils held Medaille to just 29 percent shooting from the floor and won the rebounding battle 37-28. The Devils jumped out to a 15-7 lead after one quarter and never looked back.
