Raceway 7 opens season Friday

CONNEAUT, Ohio — After a near-two month delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, Raceway 7 will throw open its gates for the 2020 racing season.

A regular five-star show including the Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Late Models, featuring 2019 champion Darrell Bossard; Bonnell’s Collision Center E-Mods, featuring 2019 champion Mike Kinney; Bonnell’s Auto Sales Economods, featuring 2019 champion Kyle Miller; Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stocks, featuring 2019 champion Pat Fielding; and Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stocks, featuring 2019 champion Mark Lawrence will be competing.

The Bonnell’s Auto Sales Economods will also run, but the 2019 champion Kyle Miller succumbed to cancer in April. His father, Todd Miller, will campaign the championship car during this season as rookie.

Raceway 7 is located 6 miles south of Interstate 90, on Ohio Route 7, just south of Monroe Center, Ohio. The address is 4094 Center Road. For more information on race day, call 440-594-2222. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for both pits and grandstands. General admission for all fans age 6 and over is $10. Pit admission is $25 for all ages.
