JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Tarp Skunks, a member of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League, will be unveiling the team’s new mascot, Whiffy, as part of their display at the Jamestown Christmas parade tonight.

The Tarp Skunks are excited to partner with this year’s presenting sponsor of the mascot, Overhead Door Company of Jamestown.

In anticipation of the 2021 PGCBL season, the Tarp Skunks will be awarding free tickets to those who participate in a social media promotion connected with the unveiling. Everyone is encouraged to take a picture of the display and mascot as they travel along the Third Street parade route and post the picture on Facebook or Twitter while tagging @Tarpskunks and @OHDJamestown. Those who do will be eligible to receive a free ticket to a 2021 Tarp Skunks game. The team’s display will be situated in front of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, near the corner of Third and Main streets.

Season ticket memberships and partial ticket packages are on sale now for the 2021 season. Season ticket memberships start as low as $95 and include a flexible ticket exchange policy and several member-only events.
