World of Outlaws Late Model Series at Stateline tonight

BUSTI — The World of Outlaws Late Model Series kicks off a northwest swing through New York and Pennsylvania this week with three 40-lap features paying $10,000-to-win.

The first stop will be tonight at Stateline Speedway.

Boom Briggs of Bear Lake, Pennsylvania, a World of Outlaws regular, will look to defend his home turf and pick up his first WoO victory. He finished ninth the last time the series raced on Kortwright Road in 2019.

In addition to the World of Outlaws Late Models, the other classes that will run tonight are the RUSH Pro Mods and the Penn Ohio Pro Stocks.

The pit gates will open at 4 p.m. and the grandstands an hour later. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m. and racing will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $30 for adults and $15 for students (ages 13-17). Children 12 and under are free. Entry to the pits is $45.

The World of Outlaw Series moves to Thunder Mountain Speedway in Knox, Pennsylvania on Friday for the 11th annual Connor Bobik Memorial. Briggs has two wins at the track in non-sanctioned events and had a top-10 last year in World of Outlaws competition.

The New York/Pennsylvania weekend tour finishes with the Late Model National Open at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
