Fredonia overwhelms Dunkirk

Salvatore Tabone, Joshua Reynolds and Dominic Tenamore each scored twice as Fredonia breezed past Dunkirk 8-1 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division boys soccer Tuesday at Fredonia High School.

Kameron Mages and Carson Cain also scored for the Hillbillies (2-3-0, 1-1-0), who received two saves in net from Trevor Persch.

Brady Corbett scored on a penalty kick for the Marauders (0-2-0, 0-2-0) and Ashton Witkowski made 27 saves in net.

WILSHIRE NETS WINNER

SINCLAIRVILLE — Christian Wilshire scored from Dylan Ansell in the 60th minute as Falconer/Cassadaga Valley edged Randolph 2-1 in East Division play.

The Hillbillies’ Zach Hall takes a shot.

Omar Johnson opened the scoring from Ben Hitchcock in the 33rd minute for the Cardinals (2-3-0, 1-2-0).

Austin Main answered a minute later from Ethyn Gilbert in the 34th minute for the Golden Cougars (4-3-0, 2-1-0).

PORTVILLE STAYS UNBEATEN

PORTVILLE — Five first-half goals sent Portville to a 6-0 East Division victory over Salamanca/Cattaraugus-Little Valley.

Michael Cole netted a hat trick by the 34th minute while Nick Harmon and Kyle Mathes also scored in the opening 40 minutes for the Panthers (6-0-1, 3-0-0). Harmon added his second goal after the break. Christian Gariepy had two assists while Brady German and Mathes also added assists in the win.

Salamanca/Cattaraugus-Little Valley fell to 0-6-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the league.

FREWSBURG HOLDS OFF EAGLES

NORTH COLLINS — Frewsburg led 2-0 at halftime and hung on for a 2-1 Central Division win over North Collins.

Landon Stormer scored from Garrett Brink in the 34th minute and Trent Bjork scored in the 39th minute for the Bears (3-4-0, 1-2-0).

Carson Teijeira tallied from Ryan Lynch in the 66th minute for the Eagles (2-3-0, 1-2-0).

EDWARDS LEADS ELLICOTTVILLE

ELLICOTTVILLE — Sam Edwards had a goal and an assist for Ellicottville in a 3-1 East Division win over Pine Valley/Gowanda.

Caedon Wyatt scored from Edwards before Edwards tallied from Emmett Jacobson-Coolidge for the Eagles (2-3-1, 2-1-0). After halftime Aidan Privitera scored.

Pine Valley/Gowanda fell to 1-3-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the league.

MOORE NETS HAT TRICK

SILVER CREEK — Eli Moore tallied his second hat trick as Maple Grove blanked Silver Creek/Forestville 9-0 in the Central Division.

Moore scored two of his goals in a 7-0 first half and his third goal in the fifth minute of the second half for the Red Dragons (5-1-0, 3-0-0). RJ Helt, Trey Demink, Jonah Foley, Keegan Rishel, Luis Gradewald and Fletcher Demink also scored.

Gradewald had two assists while Trent Moore, Helt, Rishel, Eli Moore, Gavin Rodgers and Benny Brown also had assists in the victory.

Andrew Auer and Georgio Akl combined for the shutout in net.

Silver Creek/Forestville fell to 0-5-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the league.

TROJANS DRAW OLEAN

WEST ELLICOTT — Southwestern and Olean played to a 2-2 draw in the West Division.

The Trojans are now 5-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the league while the Huskies are 3-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the league.

GATORS WIN EASILY

JAMESTOWN — Allegany-Limestone beat Jamestown 12-0 in the West Division to improve to 7-0-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the league.

The Red Raiders fell to 0-2-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the league.
