Fearless Freddie’s Football Forecast

ALLEN OR ALIEN? Speculation on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is at an all-time high following Sunday’s big win in Kansas City.

How good is the former Wyoming standout? Clearly the league MVP favorite, Allen has been remarkable for the past three seasons. The 6-foot-5 phenom is revered in Buffalo’s namesake Allentown and this week Hertle Avenue was converted to Hurdle Avenue after his annual soaring escapade late in the win over the Chiefs.

There is not a better offensive player in the NFL and General Manager Brandon Beane richly deserves every bit of the praise for moving up mightily in the draft to grab him seventh.

After this week’s bye, the Bills play three of their next four games in the friendly confines of Highmark Stadium. Expectations have never been higher for the 5-1 Bills and their otherworldly superstar.

HOME teams are capitalized. Teams picked to win the game are listed first, followed by the expected margin of victory. The official Las Vegas odds are in parentheses.
