North Collins posts volleyball victory

NORTH COLLINS — Mackenzie Jaworski had 19 kills and Cate Ayers had 23 assists to lead North Collins to a 25-14, 18-25, 25-16, 25-15 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association East Division girls volleyball victory over Cattaraugus-Little Valley on Wednesday.

Sonya Burgio had four kills and an ace while Jaworski also had three aces for the Eagles (12-5, 10-4).

The Timberwolves fell to 1-15 overall and 1-13 in the league.

ADAMS POWERS RANDOLPH

SALAMANCA — Eve Adams had 18 kills, 12 digs and five aces to send Randolph to a 25-16, 25-11, 25-23 sweep of Salamanca in the East Division.

Allie Conley had six kills; Alanna Sluga had four kills and three aces; Amanda Adams had 24 assists and three aces; and Avery Morrison had 17 digs and two aces for the Cardinals (16-2, 14-0).

Karina Crouse had six kills; Marijah Skye had 10 digs; and Faith Papke had three aces for the Warriors (5-14, 3-11).

LEIPER SHINES FOR EAGLES

SOUTH DAYTON — Natalee Leiper had 13 kills, 31 digs and five aces to lead Ellicottville to a 25-11, 26-28, 25-14, 25-13 East Division win over Pine Valley.

Allison Rowland had 12 kills, 14 digs and six aces; Ande Northrup had 31 assists, three kills, seven aces and six digs; and Cora Norton had five kills, eight digs and five aces for the Eagles (11-8, 9-5).

The Panthers fell to 6-12 overall and 4-10 in the league.

GOWANDA RALLIES TO WIN

GOWANDA — Gowanda lost the first set, but rallied to beat Silver Creek 23-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-21 in East Division action.

The Panthers improved to 11-3 overall and in the league.

The Black Knights fell to 5-12 overall and 4-10 in the league.
