Three area natives who are members of the Washington & Jefferson College football program not only enjoyed a trip to Italy late last month, but they also came away with a victory in an international “friendly” against GLS Dolphins in Anco, Italy. Sparked by the performance of Clymer resident and Panama Central School graduate Gerrit Hinsdale, middle, who passed for 200 yards and three touchdowns, and was named the game’s Most Valuable Player, the Presidents posted a 32-0 victory. Joining the senior quarterback on the trip are wide receiver and 2022 Fredonia Central School graduate Simon Davis, left, and W&J head coach and Southwestern Central School graduate Mike Sirianni.
